We have had very little snow this year, and even missed out on a white Christmas! After last year, I am certainly not complaining about it however the kids were missing the chance to go sledding. Our church youth group went ice fishing today, and everyone got their fill of it...well, at least mom did! It was an absolutely perfect day, the sun was shining on the Grand Mesa as we trudged through 3 feet or more of dry, powdery snow. Sinking knee deep, surrounded by pines and views that went on seemingly forever, I wouldn't have wanted to be any other place. Here are a few photos of the kids:
